Do I HAVE to take a public speaking class to get a Bachelors degree in Connecticuit?
I’m terrified of public speaking, I want to avoid it as much as possible. Could I get a BS in Connecticuit without having to take that class?
It depends on your college, definitely. Some schools require it, others don’t. Most schools will give you at least a few options to choose from–for example, you could take the “Public Speaking” class, or you might have the option to take a speaking-intensive class in a subject you enjoy instead. Look at the course requirements of the schools you’re interested in.
And by the way, course requirements aren’t set out by state, they’re set out by the individual school.
