How do I properly add a citation to a paragraph? Quick it’s due tomorrow!?

This is for a public speaking speech analysis. I have to write paragraphs on introduction, organization, delivery, advice, what would you incorporate, and conclusion for a video of a speech on domestic violence. This is for 10 points and you’ll be a lifesaver in my book.

In the end of the cited paragraph, add (Author’s last name, Year published).

For example:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Smith, 2009)..
